BSc Physics with Computer Science

  • Objectives Modern physics makes wide use of computers, for example for applications in experimental work, for interpreting data, and especially for theoretical modeling of physical systems and processes. This degree offers a stimulating combination of physics and computer science, and ample opportunity for you to apply your computer science knowledge to physics. Our Physics course provides a broad-based and intellectually demanding education across the whole spectrum of modern physics. It includes all the fundamental knowledge essential to the professional physicist, and will help you to develop the qualities and abilities physicists rely on. The carefully selected computing courses are taught by the Department of Computer Science, and a selection of computer based physics projects are available in year three.
