BSc Pharmacology

  • Objectives The aim of the Pharmacology programme is to produce scientists with a sound understanding of the biological action of drugs and chemicals, the way they work at the molecular, cellular and systems level and their use in medicines for the treatment of disease. It thus provides an ideal grounding for a career in the pharmaceutical industry or general biomedical research and for graduate entry to Medicine.
  • Entry requirements We ask for 320 UCAS points i.e. AAC or ABB A level grades. Our teaching does not presuppose any previous knowledge of computer science and in selecting candidates for admission we do not insist on evidence of prior competence in computer programming.
