ObjectivesSociety is increasingly healtA multi-disciplinary approach draws from sociology, psychology and politics and reinforces the understanding of diversity. We explore issues related to community health and well-being at individual, group and national level. The programme examines the contemporary issues of evidence, research, partnership, collaboration and teamwork. In addition to the essential subject theory the course provides a challenging yet supportive environment for personal development and enables you to develop essential skills valued by employers. These include communication and interpersonal skills, enhanced helping skills, problem identification and solving skills, and the ability to work productively as part of a team.
Entry requirementsEntry Requirements 200-220 points including one 6-unit award at grade C. We require applicants without GCSE English to demonstrate competence in written English. We will consider applicants of all ages. If you have alternative qualifications, please contact us for advice. Applicants with relevant previous study or experience may be able to make a claim for advanced standing though the Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) mechanism.
