BSc Financial Mathematics

  • Objectives * This is an excellent course which enables you to extend your knowledge of Mathematics whilst gaining extremely valuable and vocational skills which can lead to a lucrative career; * Your first year is common with students from the general Mathematics degree and those specializing in Computing Mathematics, which gives you the chance to reconfirm your choice or opt for the BSc Mathematics or BSc Computing Mathematics before your second year studies begin; * The Guardian University guide 2008 ranked the University 10 out of 10 for job prospects for Mathematics; * You will be part of a small and friendly department within the School of Physics, Astronomy and Mathematics.
  • Entry requirements The university requires you to have at least 2 A Levels (or equivalent) to begin an Honours Undergraduate Degree Programme or at least one for a Foundation Degree. The entry requirements for undergraduate degrees are given generally in UCAS Tariff Points.
