BSc Computer Science and French

  • Objectives Students are taught to understand the theoretical principles underlying a problem, and to be able to engineer a solution. Students are also led to a real understanding of the practical issues involved in the development of reliable and effective software systems in a business or industrial context. As well as learning to program, and to think analytically, you will be encouraged to develop your abilities to work in a team and to communicate effectively.
  • Practical experience You'll spend your third year in France, either studying computer sciences at one of our partner institutions
  • Entry requirements -GCE/VCE A Levels - ABB including A Level Mathematics and A Level French -BTEC National Award: Distinction and Grades BB in A Level Mathematics and French -Two GCE A Levels plus two GCE AS Levels - AB+BB including A Level Mathematics and A Level French -Scottish Highers: AAAB including Mathematics and French -Scottish Advanced Highers: ABB including Mathematics and French -Irish Leaving Cert. - AABBB including Mathematics and French -International Baccalaureate - 33 points including 5 points in Mathematics and French at Higher Level
