ObjectivesThis Games pathway is designed for future computer scientists who wish to gain an understanding of the development of computer games from a technical (rather than artistic) angle. Having an enthusiasm for playing computer games is a good start but you will also need to want to find out about what is involved in actually coding and creating a game. This degree will allow you not just to follow a computer science related career but may also open a door to the highly competitive computer games industry.
Entry requirementsEntry requirements * a degree (level 6) in an Early Years subject or a degree (level 6) in any subject plus a level 3 qualification in an Early Years subject * a GCSE grade C in English and Maths * a current Criminal Records Bureau clearance * recent and considerable experience across whole 0-5 years age range
