Objectives
Computer animation can be used to entertain, communicate or inform. It is used in a wide range of media and is delivered on an ever-increasing range of platforms. This course has been designed to develop students’ creative and technical skills. Computer animation can be used to entertain, communicate or inform. It is used in a wide range of media and is delivered on an ever-increasing range of platforms. This course has been designed to develop students’ creative and technical skills. Students on this course will be at the cutting edge of creative and innovative animation and will have the skills to successfully produce animated work.

Entry requirements
Normally students will need five GCSEs of grade C or above and two A levels or national equivalents. Maths GCSE is not required. Applicants with international qualifications and mature applicants are welcome.

Course structure
The course interweaves modules in drawing and observation, computer animation techniques, creativity and critical practice. For Single Honours you take eight modules at each level. Joint Honours involves four modules from each level in Computer Animation, plus four from your other subject.
