ObjectivesThis course aims to provide education and training in the use, specification, procurement, operation and management of CAD systems. It is one of a range of courses aimed at students without specialist mathematical expertise or scientific education beyond GCSE but who are interested in technology and wish to work in technologically related areas. The course provides an excellent career preparation.

Entry requirementsEntry Requirements In addition to the University general minimum entry requirements, you should have a pass in GCSE Mathematics and one of the following: A2 and AS levels: 180 points from 12 units. Vocational A level in Engineering, Science or Manufacturing including relevant optional units with 180 points. BTEC National Diploma or Certificate with at least four Level III merits including Mathematics and two other technically relevant subjects. Entry is also possible from the School's Engineering Foundation Year.
