BSc Chemical Physics

  • Objectives Chemical Physics is available as a BSc or MPhys degree course.

    Covering the area of overlap between Chemistry and Physics, Chemical Physics is concerned with the experimental and theoretical study of the structure and properties of atoms, molecules and soft matter. It will appeal to all students interested in exploring the forefront of physical and mathematical aspects of modern chemistry.
  • Entry requirements -BTEC National Diploma - 2 Distinctions and 1 Merit
    -Two GCE A Levels plus two GCE AS Levels - BB+BB
    -Scottish Highers - AABB
    -Irish Leaving Cert. - ABBBB
    -International Baccalaureate - 32 points
    -Core Requirements - GCE A Level grades BBB Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. International Baccalaureate Higher level: 6 points each in Chemistry Physics and Mathematics.
