Objectives
The BMus is committed to an individual approach to each student within a coherent but flexible modular degree programme. The programme leads to advanced work in four areas of musical studies: history of music; performance and aural training; free composition; musical analysis.

Entry requirements
We ask for 320 UCAS points i.e. AAC or ABB A level grades. Our teaching does not presuppose any previous knowledge of computer science and in selecting candidates for admission we do not insist on evidence of prior competence in computer programming.
