Objectives
Modern products from mobile phones and personal computers to cars and aircraft all require polymers, plastics and rubbers. The demands placed on these products are growing and so demand for graduates able to design with polymers and apply modern processing techniques and computer methods to mould design is also growing. This course leads to careers in leading companies in the electronics and communications, automotive, pharmaceutical and aerospace industries, all of whom employ graduates with a good knowledge of plastics and rubber materials.
