ObjectivesWe ask for 320 UCAS points i.e. AAC or ABB A level grades. Our teaching does not presuppose any previous knowledge of computer science and in selecting candidates for admission we do not insist on evidence of prior competence in computer programming.
Entry requirementsIn recent years computers have revolutionised the practice of mechanical engineering and have become indispensable tools in many key areas. This has created a demand for mechanical engineering graduates with an in-depth knowledge of computing in addition to the more traditional mechanical engineering subjects.
