ObjectivesOur bioengineering courses combine leading-edge developments in biology, physiology, medicine and engineering. They are taught by departments that are rated excellent for teaching and have strong research ratings. Our Biomaterial Science and Tissue Engineering course is available as a three-year BEng and four-year MEng. You do not need to decide between a BEng or MEng until the end of Year Two, when you will have enough knowledge and experience to make an informed decision.
Entry requirements-GCE/VCE A Levels - Typically BBC -BTEC National Diploma - 2 Distinctions and 1 Merit -Two GCE A Levels plus two GCE AS Levels - Typically BB+CC -Scottish Highers - AAAB-ABBB + AB-BB in Advanced Highers -Irish Leaving Cert. - AABBB-ABBBB -International Baccalaureate - 30-33 points -Core Requirements - Three A Levels in Science or Maths and Science (combination of Chemistry, Maths, Physics, Biology recommended). -We consider each application on its merits and may tailor our offer to suit your achievements, experience and potentials, as indicated by your UCAS form and performance at interview.
