Objectives
Theatre Studies addresses performance from a variety of critical perspectives. The course builds your understanding of the ethical and political significance of diverse performance forms and provides opportunities to apply theories to practical performance work. The Department has links with many professional practitioners, and you can participate in our extra-curricular events to enhance your development, knowledge and industry understanding. Developments in the Department include a partnership with Graeae, Britains foremost theatre company for those with physical and sensory impairments.

Entry requirements
You should normally have 200 points from at least two or more A-levels. Mature students are very welcome.

Course structure
Single Honours students take eight modules at each of three levels. Joint Honours involves four modules from each level in Theatre Studies, plus four from your other subject.
