Objectives
This course will help you to understand and relate analytical theories and concepts to management practice. You will examine the strategic and operational management of sport and recreation, and the social, political and economic context within which the industry operates, giving you a solid basis for a career within this changing industry.

Entry requirements
You should have 160-200 points, including at least 140 from two or more A-levels. English Language and Mathematics GCSE at grade C or above (or equivalent) are also required. These requirements may be varied in individual cases. Commitment to the course and ability to benefit from it are important. People from a wide range of educational and employment backgrounds will be considered.

Course structure
For Single Honours you take eight modules at each level. Joint Honours involves four modules from each level in Sports Management, plus four from your other subject. You may also choose a Major/Minor combination after level 1.
