Numeracy and Literacy: GCSE English and Mathematics grade 4 (or grade C in the old grading system). We also accept iGCSEs, Key Skills and Functional Skills and other qualifications at Level 2 of the National Qualifications Framework.
International entry requirements:

Course descriptionThe foundation of all film, TV, radio and narrative output
is scriptwriting. On this course you’ll develop your abilities to create,
develop and deliver ideas across a range of formats generating a portfolio of
work.
You’ll learn how to develop, produce and critique scripts,
as well as how to develop your creative and critically reflective voice and
writing style. Writing for film, television, animation, theatre, radio and
adaptation are encompassed, so that students have a firm foundation in a
variety of narrative formats.
You’ll be taught by highly-skilled academic staff and
professional practitioners, alongside regular guest speakers from the industry.
They will help you develop a professional approach to your outlook and a wider
understanding of a variety of creative and production roles so that you’ll be
strongly placed to respond to professional opportunities.
During the course you’ll be encouraged to work
collaboratively with students on other courses, giving you opportunities to see
your work produced and form creative partnerships.
As part of the course, you’ll have the chance to take a work
placement of either four or 30 weeks. The result will be an invaluable
experience and a host of professional contacts, which will help you enter the
workplace in a much stronger position. This is complemented by a graduate
degree show held in London at the end of the course where you celebrate your
achievements and can make further industry contacts.
