    Programme

Year 1 provides an introduction to the wider aspects relating to the marketing sector in general and to PR in particular. This is supplemented by two units which form the basis of understanding the media, culture and identity.

Year 2 builds upon this foundation and provides more specialist units concerning media, PR programmes and resource management. There is also the opportunity to benefit from a period of work-based learning on placement with a business in the field. Alternatively, you may choose to carry out an extended case study.

Year 3 units look to the future and identify trends in the development of PR, the persuasive aspects of such activity and a final year project concerning a PR specialism of your choice. There is also an elective that enables you to focus upon aspects of media and culture of either Europe or the USA.
