ObjectivesThis course offers you the opportunity to develop essential creative and practical skills in information handling and communications management for the Public Relations, Advertising and Communications industries. You develop practical skills and knowledge from writing press releases to understanding the structure of modern media organisations. You will develop advanced skills in the production of written, oral and visual communications central to corporate communications. You benefit from industry professionals on the staff and regular industry guest speakers and outside visits. The course has special opportunities for practical engagement with communications and media through events such as the Big City Film Festival and other events in London.
Entry requirementsYou should typically have 160 points at A2 level, or 160200 points at A2 and AS level combined. In addition, five GCSE subjects are required, including grade C in English. Applications are welcome from students on recognised Access and Foundation programmes. We welcome applications from overseas and mature students with a range of qualifications and/or experience, as well as part-time students.
