Objectives
A Politics degree from the University of Surrey gives you the opportunity to study power in the real world and develop the skills to make sense of that world. You will learn to apply political ideas to real-world concerns at an international, national and local level. You will benefit from being taught by staff engaged in international-quality research and whose teaching has been rated as excellent. You will have the opportunity of spending a professional training year with an organisation committed to social or political change. This might be a voluntary sector organisation, a government or local authority department, an MP or MEP, or perhaps an international organisation.
