Objectives
This course will provide you with the theoretical and technical expertise that you need to build a career in the making or repairing of musical instruments in one of a wide range of instrument families, including guitars, orchestral strings, early strings, early keyboards, woodwinds, piano tuning and repair. The department has the broadest provision in the UK for the study of the technologies of music.

Entry requirements
You should have 160 points from two A-levels. All other qualifications are considered on an individual basis. You should also have a keen interest in musical instruments and music.

For Single Honours you take eight modules at each of three levels. For Joint Honours you take four Musical Instruments* and four from your other subject.
