Objectives
This exciting course is the result of collaboration between staff and students in Art and Design together with IT and digital technology specialists. It aims to provide creative people with skills for what has been described as 'the missing industry'. As a multimedia design student you could be working on websites, virtual worlds, immersive virtual reality, interactive multimedia, responsive installations, computer and web animation, web 3D broadcast media, live streaming audio, sound design, interactive graphics and many other areas.

Entry requirements
Entry Requirements Additional requirements for this course are normally one of the following: Successful completion of a Foundation course in Art and Design A minimum of 240 points gained in A level including two 60-unit (A2) Awards A minimum of 200 points gained in Advanced Vocational Certificate in Education Double Awards (AVCE) An EdExcel/BTEC National Diploma, with merits in a relevant subject. In addition to the above, strong emphasis will be placed on the quality of your portfolio and a satisfactory interview. Other suitable experience or qualifications will be considered.
