BA Modern Greek Studies

  • Objectives This degree provides an in-depth study of the subjects offered by the Department of Byzantine & Modern Greek Studies. King's is one of only three UK institutions that teach Byzantine & Modern Greek to BA degree level. Most of our modules are taught in small groups. Language teaching is 'communicative', using a wide range of authentic materials, including video and computers, while also providing a firm grounding in writing and grammatical skills. Literature, history and linguistics classes are discussion-based.
  • Entry requirements We ask for 320 UCAS points i.e. AAC or ABB A level grades. Our teaching does not presuppose any previous knowledge of computer science and in selecting candidates for admission we do not insist on evidence of prior competence in computer programming.
