ObjectivesThis course gives you a good understanding of both management and mathematics. In the management part of the degree, you will gain a good grounding in the basic principles of management and then use this to specialise in particular areas of management like human resource management, management information systems or marketing. The mathematics part of the course is taught by the departments of Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Probability and Statistics. You will study Core Mathematics and some, but not all, of the courses taken by single honours Mathematics students. The study of applied mathematics, and probability and statistics does not assume any prior knowledge.
