Objectives
This course aims to provide you with a thorough knowledge of law, which may be broad-based or focused on areas of special interest. It is the most flexible of the law courses offered by the University, giving the greatest opportunity for choice. You are encouraged to pursue your own areas of interest in fields such as international law, civil liberties and social justice, commercial law and the law as it relates to individuals.

Entry requirements
You should have at least 200 points, including 160 points from two or more A-levels. English Language GCSE at grade C or above (or equivalent) is also required. These requirements may be varied in individual cases.

Course structure
Single Honours students take eight modules at each of three levels. Joint Honours involves four modules from each level in Law, plus four from another subject.

Level 2
* Law of Torts I
* Law of the European Union
* Law of Property
You can choose from several options, including International Law, Civil Liberties, Employment Law, Sale of Goods, Women & Law and Business Crime.
