Objectives
On this course you will: make a detailed study of the social, political, economic, historical and artistic aspects of the mass media; develop specific skills in print journalism and print production; investigate the nature and organisation of media activities and industries and analyse a range of media genres; develop important practical skills in communication, problem-solving, group work and business organisation; gain a good understanding of the processes of media production and become conversant in a wide range of language and media used for creative and functional purposes.

Entry requirements
Entry Requirements Applicants should have minimum of 280 points to include two six-unit awards. For BTEC NND we require DMM.
