BA Interior Design

Objectives
In Year 1, studio-based projects introduce the fundamental principles of interior design – eg form, space, structure, colour, light and function. To complement these studies you will learn skills such as drawing, model-making and the use of digital media. In Year 2 you will further explore issues such as spatial organisation, planning and detailing through a series of design projects, supported by technical studies in computer-aided design and building construction. Year 3 culminates with an individual design project. Your work throughout the course will be supported by historical and theoretical studies.

Entry requirements
Entry Requirements -a degree (level 6) in an Early Years subject or a degree (level 6) in any subject plus a level 3 qualification in an Early Years subject -a GCSE grade C in English and Maths -a current Criminal Records Bureau clearance -recent and considerable experience across whole 0-5 years age range
