Objectives
This course focuses on the creative problems and cultural issues which you will encounter in your professional life. The course encourages you to develop a wide range of practical, creative and conceptual skills, based in current theory and practice. A key concept of the course is the notion that graphic designers are not solely concerned with generating imagery, problems of communication or applying design technology. You will be asked to take responsibility for identifying and developing a personal design agenda and an individual approach. Teaching staff are student-focused, experienced practising designers and the course has excellent partnerships with leading design groups.
