BA German and History

  • Objectives This is a four-year dual honours BA in German and History. The two subjects are a natural study combination, given the extraordinary impact of Germany on European and world history in the last two centuries. This course offer the opportunity to develop your language skills while you investigate the past.
  • Practical experience The third year is spent abroad, usually as a student at a university, as a language assistant in a school, or on a work placement approved by the department
  • Entry requirements -GCE/VCE A Levels - BBB -Two GCE A Levels plus two GCE AS Levels - BB+BB -Scottish Highers - AABB -Irish Leaving Cert. - ABBBB -BTEC Level N - 2 Distinctions and 1 Merit -International Baccalaureate - 30-32 points -Core Requirements - Grade B in GCE A Level German, plus Grade B in GCE A Level History
