BA Geography and Planning

  • Objectives This course is taught by the departments of Geography and Town and Regional Planning, and offers the opportunity to study human geography and the planning system that shapes so much of the geography of urban and rural areas. Modules offered are a carefully selected combination of geographic and town planning topics offering insights into processes, policies and practices in operation.
  • Entry requirements -GCE/VCE A Levels - ABB -BTEC National Diploma - 2 Distinctions and 1 Merit -Two GCE A Levels plus two GCE AS Levels - AB+BB or equivalent -Scottish Advanced Highers - ABB -Scottish Highers - AAAB -Irish Leaving Cert. - AABBB -International Baccalaureate - 33 points -European Baccalaureate - 77% -Core Requirements - Grade C in GCSE Maths, A Level Geography. Other useful but not compulsory subjects are Economics, History, Sociology, Law, Art, Design and Technology.
