    Programme

Fine Art consists of painting, sculpture, printmaking, drawing, video, photography and electronic media, reflecting the wide range of facilities and expertise available. The programme develops technical, creative and critical skills of fine art to a high standard.

Year one students follow a combination of disciplines in terms one and two and choose to specialise in one or more fine art disciplines in term two. In year two students develop individual studio practise in these areas. Final year students negotiate and develop their individual creative practise, culminating in an exhibition. There are also opportunities to study in Europe or the USA for part of the programme.

All teaching staff are practising artists who exhibit nationally and internationally
