Entry requirements
Entry requirements Students should normally have a good portfolio, plus one of the following: * Successful completion of an Art and Design Foundation Course * National Diploma merit profile in a relevant subject * 240 points, to include two GCE/VCE A Levels with grade C in at least one art or design subject. Applications from mature students (21+) with alternative qualifications and/or work experience are welcomed.

BA Fashion Design
Programme
Fashion Design encompasses a wide range of projects, including briefs from designer labels through to the high street. This enables students to gain specialist design and technical expertise relevant to a range of fashion activities. Design of womenswear, menswear and childrenswear features in a variety of modules, with students developing their work from initial design concept through to the finished garment.
Year one develops fundamental fashion design skills, historical and cultural studies and computer-aided design. Year two students choose from several optional modules including bra/baques, knitwear and style and colour prediction. This provides professional attributes and skills for various roles with challenging and exciting industry. The major project in year three gives students an opportunity to set their own briefs and produce a final collection of garments.
