Objectives
This policy-orientated degree will provide you with knowledge of the key issues in economics. Looking at both theoretical and policy-related areas, the course will develop your ability to use the analytical tools central to economics and will help you learn how to a wide range of economic questions. As well as acquiring specialist knowledge, you will develop a range of transferable and analytical skills. There is a wide range of optional modules to choose from, and the course develops your employability skills in business. The Department has a strong research base and a thriving alumni community that helps maintain links with employers and City institutions.

Entry requirements
You should have GCSE Mathematics and English Language, plus 200 points from two or more A-levels, or a BTEC Diploma in Business.

You study eight modules at each of three levels. After level 1 you can continue on Single Honours or take a Major/Minor combination.
