Objectives This exciting course covers the use of computer-aided design (CAD) for products and spaces, encouraging you to develop and present innovative ideas. It introduces you to design thinking and computer-aided visualisation to create virtual designs using solids, surface properties and lighting models. The course is based largely upon the PC platform, and you are introduced to industry-standard CAD software.
Entry requirements You will normally have at least 100 points from two A-levels (preferably including design or technology), or a BTEC National Diploma with at least three merit passes in the final year. GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C or above (or equivalent) are also required. These requirements may be varied in individual cases.

Joint Honours involves four modules at each level in Computer-Aided Design, plus four from your other subject.
