ObjectivesThe Classical Studies programme is designed for those who wish to study the classical world as a whole, with an emphasis on Greek and Roman culture and thought, and who have not studied much or any Greek or Latin before coming to university. An element of (Greek or Latin) language work is indispensable, but may be done at any level including beginners’.
Entry requirementsEntry Requirements -International Baccalaureate 34 points overall including HL6 in English and History -Irish Leaving Certificate A1 A1 B1 B1 B2 B2 at Higher level including grade B1 in English or History -European Baccalaureate 80% overall inc 80% in English or History -USA: Advanced Placement Tests Three AP subjects with 544 including English or History at grade 5 -Australia: Tertiary Entrance Ranking 95+ Tertiary Entrance Ranking, or an OP of band 4 for Queensland
