BA Classical Studies & Byzantine & Modern Greek Studies
ObjectivesThis programme is particularly recommended for those with an interest in the development of Greek culture from ancient times to the present day, while allowing also for more general study of the ancient Greek and Roman worlds. Language study of modern Greek (including a year abroad) and classical Greek or Latin is an integral part of the programme.
Entry requirementsEntry Requirements -International Baccalaureate 34 points overall including HL6 in English and History -Irish Leaving Certificate A1 A1 B1 B1 B2 B2 at Higher level including grade B1 in English or History -European Baccalaureate 80% overall inc 80% in English or History -USA: Advanced Placement Tests Three AP subjects with 544 including English or History at grade 5 -Australia: Tertiary Entrance Ranking 95+ Tertiary Entrance Ranking, or an OP of band 4 for Queensland
