ObjectivesYou will follow a balanced programme that develops your language skills in Chinese and German and a sophisticated understanding of how China and Germany work, socially, politically and culturally. The intensive four-year Chinese language programme can accommodate both absolute beginners and students with some prior knowledge. Beginners will cover the core grammar of the language in the first year, as students who have studied Chinese before develop and consolidate their skills.
Practical experienceYou will spend your second year at the University of Nanjing, one of China's leading universities, covering more advanced material and more complex sources such as newspapers
Entry requirements-GCE/VCE A Levels - BBB -Two GCE A Levels plus two GCE AS Levels - BB+BB -Scottish Highers - AABB -Irish Leaving Cert. - ABBBB -International Baccalaureate - 32 points -Core Requirements - Grade B in GCE A Level German.
