Course Structure
The course focuses on the development of employability skills in the context of management and leadership. The core subjects in the first two years provide a solid grounding in the basic business subjects. These include Work, Society and Organisations, Managing and Developing People, Project and Operations Management and Small Business Enterprise and Planning.
The final year focuses specifically on management and leadership and facilitates development in key employability and management skills areas, including leadership, team working and communication skills. Modules include Strategic Management, Managing Quality and Developing Performance and Management, Work and Society. These core areas are delivered in a stimulating manner that enables you to meet any challenges that you may face when joining an organisation. The third year provides an opportunity to specialise in an exciting management or leadership area that will enhance employment prospects.
Throughout this course, you will gain the business management skills and knowledge required to meet the demands of a globalised and dynamic business world. The course also provides exemptions from sections of a range of professional examinations and full exemption from the Chartered Management Institute´s Level 4 Diploma in Management.
