Objectives
This course provides you with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of economic analysis and its application to business. You will develop a thorough understanding of the economic factors affecting the structure, strategic decisions and social and ethical dimensions of modern businesses. You will be encouraged to develop economic reasoning in a variety of contexts and to apply economic analysis to business problems. By the end of the course you will be able to provide a critical and informative analysis of the operation of domestic and international companies.

Entry requirements
You should also have 200 points from two or more A-levels. You should have GCSE Grade C or above, or equivalent, in English Language and Maths.

Course structure
Single Honours students take eight modules at each of three levels. Joint Honours involves four modules from each level in Business Economics, plus four from your other subject. You may also choose a Major/Minor combination at the end of level 1.
