Course descriptionBA Business and Management
Programme
This is a career-focused and practical programme, providing students with a range of inputs from different disciplines within the Business School. Students can follow a general business pathway or choose specialist modules in Marketing, Human Resource Management or Finance and Accounting. Throughout all years, students undertake a range of core and elective modules including, for example, Business Communications and Analysis, Understanding Business, Introduction to Accounting, Operations Management, Strategic Leadership, Brand Management, Marketing Communications, E-Business, Managing Small and Medium Sized Enterprises, Human Resource Management and Management of ICT and Services. Students also have the opportunity to take a double module in New Business Creation, offering the opportunity to experience running a company as a Director.
We also offer a full-time Foundation Degree in Business and Management (UCAS code: NNC2) which is very similar to the first two years of this Degree. Students can therefore exit this Degree after just two years with a Foundation Degree qualification if they wish to. Similarly, students who successfully complete the Foundation Degree can ?top-up? to the final year of this BA Honours Degree.
