ObjectivesThis course is a joint degree with the School of Music, Humanities and Media. It aims to focus on the development of skills of business in the areas of journalism and print media. It is aimed at those who wish to pursue business careers in areas such as general business management, advertising, public relations, and staff relations where writing skills and business research skills will be of benefit to the organisation.
Practical experienceOur students take part in a management development residential programme in the second year held in the Lake District, which focuses on skills development, leadership, project management and team-working.
Entry requirementsEntry Requirements Normally 240 points which must include two 6-unit awards or one 12-unit award (which must not include an A2 level in the same subject as an AS level) plus GCSE Mathematics and English at grade C or above.
