This keeps your career options open and enables you to make more informed choices. On the Accounting & Business degree you'll discover that there is considerable crossover between accounting and business management, and as such gaining an understanding of both fields will serve you well. From an accounting point of view, it’s important to have a good understanding of various aspects of a business, while business managers can benefit from a background in accounting to ensure their decisions are financially viable. As well as having industry accreditations and exemptions for accountancy qualifications, which means you may not have to take all the exams required to become a Chartered Accountant, this course also covers communication and IT skills, which are vital in the modern business world.
