Content details
This course has two pathways: art and design, and media, both pathways include units in: exploring visual language, materials, technologies, techniques and processes, and carry out a personal project. On the art and design pathway you will study graphic design and 3D design. On the media pathway you will study video production and multimedia.
How is the course taught
This Course is taught using lectures, practical demonstration and individual responses to design briefs. Students will work in a variety of classroom settings according to the disciplines being taught. A variety of field trips and gallery visits will be conducted over the year.
Assessment
Assessment both formative and summative will be conducted at regular times throughout the year to assist in the successful completion of core and specialist Units.
Course leads to You will be able to progress to a Level 2 course.
