Course description
Content details:
This course is for those who intend to study a specialist art or design course at degree level. You will study graphic design, fashion textiles, fine art and 3D during the first term before specializing in the second term.
How is the course taught:
This Course is taught using lectures, practical demonstration and individual responses to design briefs. Students will work in a variety of classroom settings according to the disciplines being taught. A variety of field trips and gallery visits will be conducted over the year.
Assessment:
Assessment of exploratory, pathway and confirmatory stages will be conducted formatively at half term and summatively at the end of each full term.
