Course descriptionGeneral information
The business administration apprenticeship is available for learners aged 16-65 who are employed in an administration environment for a minimum of 16 hours a week. College attendance is on a day-release basis and assessment will take place in the workplace. learners are required to build a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate their skills, understanding and knowledge of the subject. Training is provided through workshop sessions, tutorials and classroom teaching.
Course content
In-house training will take place one day a week and regular assessments and reviews will occur in the workplace. Learners will work towards the administration framework consisting of an NVQ level 2 in administration, a technical certificate, combining practical and theory work, key skills in Application of Number and Communication and Employer's Rights and Responsibilities.
