Course descriptionGeneral information
The customer service advanced apprenticeship is available for learners aged from 16-65 who are employed in a supervisory customer service environment for a minimum of 16 hours a week. College attendance is on a day-release basis and assessment will take place in the workplace. Learners are required to build a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate their skills, understanding and knowledge of the subject. Training is provided through workshop sessions, tutorials and classroom teaching.
Course content
In-house training will take place one day a week and regular assessments and reviews will occur in the workplace. Learners will work towards an NVQ level 3 in Customer Service, a technical certificate in Customer Service, (a combination of practical and theory work), and level 2 key skills in Application of Number and Communication.
